- I'm a blogger for fun. I'm a freelance writer for fun and money. I was chief of a volunteer fire department for 15 years because it was fun, it payed enough money, and because I was crazy. I live in Northwestern Ontario only because I'm crazy. My philosophy: reading is like eating. You read or eat something because it’s pleasant (like ice cream) or because it’s good for you (like turnip greens). Or both. This blog is intended to be ice cream. I don’t write much about Bloom’s Taxonomy or Maslow’s Hierarchy or any other turnip green stuff here. If you like ice cream, you've come to the right place.
